Beauty: November Favorites

The beauty industry has become an overwhelming world of endless products, launches and rebranding. I’m here to share some of my favorites from the month of November.
Byredo Suede Rinse-Free Handwash: ($35) I know, I know. $35 for hand sanitizer is ridiculous. I ended up snagging this back in March when lockdown first hit and there was no sanitizer in sight. I was able to get my hands on a few tubes of this ‘Rinse-Free Handwash’ and my goodness… talk about an absolutely delicious scent and feeling luxurious instantly. I put this in my bag on days when I’m too nauseated from slathering the $3 tequila scented sanitizer on my hands.
Ouai Detox Shampoo: ($30) Another beginning of quarantine purchase that I finally am coming to the end of. I was finding an overproduction of oil from my scalp and started with a wash once a week using this shampoo. It truly has helped my scalp calm down, it doesn’t strip my hair and removes product buildup. Did I mention it smells fantastic as well?
Fresh Sugar Lip Balm SPF 15: ($24) This will make every month favorites list because it is truly a product I cannot live without. I have one for my purse, next to the bed, the bathroom, my makeup bag, and both cars. Addicted? I’d say so. This lip balm lasts forever on your lips, has SPF, and exfoliates dead skin so basically your lips are a dream after wearing it for a day. Definitely a desert island choice!
Gucci Mascara L’Obscur: ($35) I am constantly searching for a mascara and haven’t ever settled on one. I use different ones to achieve different looks and my choices tend to change pending my emotional state which means I switch between 6-8 tubes when doing my makeup. This tube stands out for how quick you can build up a beautiful thick lash. I use this on days when I want a defined lash that isn’t overly thick. Easy removal and the the tube just feels luxurious.
Slip Scrunchies: ($39) This one has been an absolute game changer for my hair at night. I used to sleep with my hair in a regular hair tie and didn’t realize how much actual damage it had been doing. I bought these guys on a whim while standing in the checkout line at Sephora, and I will never go back! Sleeping with silk scrunchies in our hair helps protect your strands and prevents damage. Next will be a silk pillowcase…
Lunya Silk Eye Mask: ($48) I have tried 5-6 different styles of eye masks and I cannot sleep with my Lunya mask. I had switched from cheaper versions to a Silk sleep mask and was happy as a clam. I wanted to try out Lunya’s version and have not gone back! It feels like a cozy silk comforter is wrapped around your head. It muffles sounds, doesn’t move around at night and is washable. Hello Perfect!
La Mer Eye Cream: ($230) I snagged this 20% off with the Sephora Rouge deal in April and boy am I happy that I did! I’ve been on the hunt for an eye cream that could provide the same soft, hydrated under eyes that the La Mer was giving me, but I have yet to be convinced.
Herbivore Prism AHA/BHA Exfoliating Facial: ($58) Dry, flaky, lackluster skin be gone! I use this mask once every two weeks ( I have sensitive skin and don’t want to over do it) and boy oh boy can I see the difference. When you are looking to see radiant skin in the mirror, this mask is for you.
