Fashion: Unlined Bras - Comfort & Beauty

Bralette.jpg

I’ve been on an endless search for comfortable, cute unlined bras in a range of prices and sizes. Come to find out this is MUCH harder than it seems. After a few polls on Instagram (and sifting through lots of fantastic responses), I was have tried out five different brands and been happy with each of them for different reasons.

My main criteria, in order of importance are; comfort, style, support and price. Being that undergarments are worn quite often, I try to take great care of them as well as usually prefer to invest in pieces that will last years.

Lets’ get into it shall we?!

Cosabella - Rating: Overall Favorite Brand

Ever since stumbling onto the Cosabella Boutique in Manhattan four years ago, I have been in love with this brand. I started with a few pairs of their Italian lace boy shorts and the cut made me feel super sexy, chic and comfortable at the same time. Big win. I tried out their Never Say Never Bralette next and was completely hooked. They have endless amounts of colors, shapes and sizes which is another plus for me. My Go-To’s:

Never Say Never Curvy Hook & Eye Bralette ($65.50) (Great Support, Wide Color & Size Range)

Pret A Porter Longline Bralette ($85.50) (OK Support, Style and doubles as a crop top)

Never Say Never Bralette (My version of a T-Shirt bra, so less support than the Hook & Eye Bralette but more comfortable)

Lively - Rating: Best unlined bra for support/lift, great construction.

Lively bras have quickly become a staple in my wardrobe. The lift these bras give you without having underwire is out of this world. The negative for me is that they don’t have a large variety of sizes, they only go to 38DDD in most styles which leaves out a large majority of people. If you’re bust size is DDD or smaller, good luck not wanting to buy ALL of the bras on this site.

My Go-To’s:

The All Day No-Wire Push Up ($35)

The Spacer Bra ($35)

The Stripe Mesh Bralette ($35)

Skims - Rating: Wide size/colourway selection, quick shipping, good construction. No support.

Kim Kardashian truly has nailed it with Skims. One of my favorite products is her T-Shirt bra. It is a comfy, wear when relaxing bra so you can expect 0% support but 100% comfort. They have an extremely wide size range, a selection of around 15 colorways, and this is a product that usually stays in stock unlike a lot of the other products.

My Go-To:

Fits Everybody Triangle Bralette ($32)

Savage x Fenty - Rating: Affordable, endless styles to choose from, wide size range. Quality isn’t the highest.

Rihannas brand is definitely affordable, has a wide range of sizes and chic. I was thoroughly surprised by the selection of styles available as well! I tried five different styles out and my favorite ended up being another T-Shirt style bra.

My Go-To:

Cotton Essentials Bralette ($24.95)

Les Girls Les Boys - Rating: Sporty, well constructed, and a great brand message.

LGLB reached out to me to gift a set a few months ago and ever since I’ve been in love! This brand has a beautiful message alongside beautiful products. I am looking forward to trying out more styles and watching Les Girls Les Boys expand even further!

My Go-To:

Ultimate Comfort Soft Bra ($53)
